Where did our truck go?

After receiving verbal commitments from Chevrolet to support the Trans-Americas Journey for the duration of our 3-year road trip through North, Central and South America by supplying us with a Silverado, the company abruptly pulled out of the partnership and asked us to return the truck we came to love over the past 12 months and almost 50,000 miles. We are hurt and disappointed by this turn of events—not to mention stranded in New York City where we are working to overcome the loss of our vehicle two years earlier than anticipated. Despite this blow, we remain committed to continuing the journey as planned and we look forward to welcoming a new vehicle as our third Trans-Americas Journey team member for the remaining two years of our working journey. Onward!
