Like many freelance travel journalists these days, a lot of our travel stories are published by digital publications or on the websites for print publications. That’s because, over the years, print publications have lost advertisers and cut their page count which means fewer print assignments for freelancers like us. However, we’re happy to report that many of our latest published freelance travel stories (including an Argentina road trip, seeing the penguins of Patagonia, and much more) appeared in print publications.

Travel+Leisure Salta Argentina

We freelance for Travel + Leisure magazine’s website a lot. However, getting a story into the print edition of the magazine is a much bigger challenge. Therefore, we’re thrilled to share our mini-feature about a culture-and-wine-filled Argentina road trip through Salta province in the northern part of the country which was published in the August 2020 issue of Travel + Leisure magazine.

Travel+Leisure Luxe road trips

The July 2021 issue of Travel + Leisure magazine contained our coverage of a compelling new luxe road trip travel trend that promises everything from classic cars to exclusive routes through some of the most beautiful places on earth. United Hemishpheres Penguins

Another print victory appeared in the February 2021 issue of Hemispheres, the magazine for United Airlines, which contained our piece (including Eric’s photos) about when and where to see penguins in Patagonia.

Time 100 places Quito Mendoza

And our first piece for Time magazine was a double-header in the August 2 edition of the magazine which published our coverage of reasons to travel to Quito, Ecuador and reasons to travel to Mendoza, Argentina as part of a larger round-up about great travel destinations around the world.

CNN Travel Private Patagonia

Our latest story (along with Eric’s photos) for the CNN Travel website tells you about the unsung glories of Perito Moreno National Park in Argentinean Patagonia including tranquil trails, wildlife galore, and a network of charming new cabins.
