There are many reasons to travel to Boquete, Panama including great coffee, cool temperatures, good food, outdoor adventures, and a wide range of hotels (it’s all in our travel guide to Boquete). Boquete also has some of the easiest and most gratifying bird watching in Panama. We saw dozens of species, including the always-amazing resplendent quetzal and a tantalizing tease from a three-wattled bell bird, with little or no effort. This photo essay brings you some of our favorite birds of Boquete, many spotted from our breakfast table in the bird-filled garden of the Boquete Garden Inn.
