It’s been great to be able to tell the story of the Patagonian puma boom in southern Chile in so many different ways for so many different media outlets including Time magazine and Sierra magazine. And, as usual, our freelance travel stories have got you covered when it comes to luxury hotels.
In October of 2022, we took an experiential approach to the puma boom with this day-by-day account of a puma tracking safari around Torres del Paine, Chile with Quasar Expeditions for Luxury Latin America.
In August of 2022, we were delighted to get our first assignment from Sierra, the magazine for the Sierra Club which is the oldest and largest grassroots conservation organization in the United States. In it, we explore the good, the bad, and the unknown about the Patagonian puma boom.
And, in March of 2023, the puma boom was the impetus for our item about the Torres del Paine region of Chile as part of Time magazine’s annual World’s Greatest Places travel roundup.
In February, our coverage of the new Explora El Chalten luxury all-inclusive adventure lodge in Argentina was published by Essentialist.
Also in February, we covered Estancia Cerro Guido, a historic sheep ranch with charming accommodations and a ground-breaking puma conversation program in the Torres del Paine area of southern Chile, for Essentialist.
