Tsé bighánílíní. That’s the Navajo name for Antelope Canyon on the Navajo Indian Reservation outside Page, Arizona. The phrase means “the place where water runs through rocks” which is appropriate since this photogenic slot canyon was formed by water and it continues to flood during seasonal rains. Clear skies and sun greeted us during our visit to this amazing natural formation allowing Eric to capture this dramatic shaft of light.

Wow, that’s a gorgeous photo!
Awesome shot! No other way to put it!
Another wonderful pic. Wow! Thanks.
Thanks Laura
Gorgeous, I would love to go there and take pictures!
If your in that part of Arizona it’s not too be missed, though it can get a bit crowded at times making the photography even trickier.
Wow, really beautiful. Love the way the light trickles through.
Thanks
Just waiting for a young Indiana Jones to walk into the light. Or maybe just someone with a cool hat.
Stunning shot, guys! Even though I’m part Native American and have a great interest in Amerindian history and culture, I’ve never been to the Southwest (except when I was 2, which doesn’t count). Hopefully we’re going out there to see Mary’s aunt next year, and will have time to seek out gorgeous shots like this. Thanks for sharing!
That photo looks like it could be a movie poster or something. Probably a movie about someone getting trapped in a canyon for a few days, unfortunately, but a poster nonetheless! :)
